1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LegitV ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

LegitV provides AI-powered product authentication for vintage fashion, sneakers, and luxury goods. Our service analyzes product images and listing data to provide authentication opinions.

Important: LegitV provides AI-generated opinions, not guarantees. Our verifications are informational and should not be the sole basis for purchase decisions. We are not liable for authentication errors.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • One account per person; shared accounts are not permitted
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service

4. Credits & Payments

  • New accounts receive 3 free verification credits
  • Additional credits can be purchased via Stripe or redeemed with promo codes
  • Each verification consumes 1 credit
  • Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable
  • Promo codes are single-use per account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to facilitate the sale of counterfeit goods
  • Submit fraudulent verification requests
  • Reverse-engineer our AI models or authentication pipeline
  • Abuse promo codes or credit systems
  • Scrape or automate access without an API key agreement

6. API Access

Business API access is available via API keys. API usage is subject to rate limits and our API Terms of Use. Unauthorized automated access is prohibited.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including AI models, authentication criteria, and scoring algorithms, is proprietary to LegitV. You retain ownership of images you upload but grant us a license to process them for authentication and service improvement.

8. Limitation of Liability

LegitV is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for damages arising from reliance on our authentication opinions, including but not limited to financial losses from purchases made based on our verifications.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via account settings. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Grenoble, France.
